As success of a mission is highly dependent on real time informational exchange and situational awareness, tactical data link has become a crucial part of military organisations. Coupled with increased emphasis on network-centric warfare in recent years, military organisations around the world continue to upgrade their platforms with the latest tactical data-link (TDL) capabilities. Hence, it has become a priority of military personnel to understand the application of data links and be updated with the latest technologies to optimise data link performance.
This 3-day training course on tactical data link will provide a thorough introduction into tactical data links by discussing its various implementation and operational challenges. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of various data link technologies as well as new data link systems by learning about their operational functions and technical considerations. Therefore, the course will prepare participants well for managing and implementing TDL in their organisation.
